45.....dunno how I feel about it tbh, it's neither here nor there is it?... but it seems a long time since I was watching the first moon landing

No, not at all, although I'm not playing as much as I have been, and this is my 2nd night on the trot without Wolfie and it's a thursdsay but it is holiday time after all, I'm reasonably happy where I am these days, plus I only have to listen to one Dutch guy on comms .
I'm not the best player at Chevron and never will be, but I don't feel out of my depth when playing in matches, which helps....having said that though, I am upgrading my monitor to a 21 inch model in the hope I can actually see the bloody enemy and maybe improve my aim .

Maybe I spoke too soon 
Monitor and Chevron are history .
Monitor was not as I had expected and is worthless  .
Nice guys at Chevron, but it's just not working out as I had hoped and I'm not in the habit of washing my dirty laundry in public, so I'll leave it at that.
Still no news regarding my visit to Stanmore, I had hoped I would have at least heard from them by now, even it was only to tell me I was going on a waiting list or something 
On top of all that, the weather here is bloody awful and has been all summer, I've just had a big fu*k off argument with the missus and the boys are moaning that they can't play outside in the rain....so I'm about to reach for my special "tobacco" tin and roll a fat one.....things are pretty much normal here

On a serious note, i'm sorry to hear things at chevron didn't work out, and that the monitor wasn't what you had expected.
and well, i know the feeling about the summer it's been shite here too ;<!
