Dunno, discussed that matter alot with friends of mine....but we're not representative...cause we're pacifists. Would be interesting to hear Ryan's opinion (without accusing him of stuff Very Happy ) about this matter. Especially since he's part of the military (note: I'm not "accusing" or "judging" him) Very Happy .

No question Bush is a complete dushe bag however, I did support the Iraq war because weapons of mass destruction or not he had to go. Now Ryan no real point in asking whether he likes Bush or not I will almost bet my life he does. Who cares about the election? I tell you who, the whole european unions media and almost every country elsewhere thats who! Now the only real argument you can give me is if the US is involved with Iraq because Saddam had to go why not in other countries where the same thing is going on? This is where the true problem is, however just because the US is doing nothing elsewhere dosent mean they should do nothing everywhere. And one more things for you English people that think Tony Blair is a discrace, My take on Blair is that I admire him for sticking to his convictions and going against popular opinion and being for the Iraq war despite popular opinion. Reason being what makes a good leader one who does what the "majority thinks" or one that dosent care if
his decision means he wont be relected next term but does what he thinks is right. Tony Blair went against popular opinion even though it may mean he wont be relected next election. Blair rules!

Well but who in godīs name has the right to attack a sovereign state, like Iraq? Why is USA and UK allowed to have mass destruction and other states not? A question of power, not morality.

Beside that, its senseless "to free" a country without having constructive concepts for the post-dictator period. Look at afghanistan - mudshaheddin-regime gone but the country is far from normality. Economy down, opium cultivation and export at maximum, Kazai far from being accpeted by the people, warlords like General Dostam actually controlling the country.

Iraq? just look in the newspaper...

Well a lot of leaders in the past sticked to their convictions although it wasnīt so popular. "Stubbornness" canīt be the only argument to favor someone...or would you favor Hilter just because he did what he thought was right?

Puny drinking makes him talkative. In this case it is not a pleasure to listen to that.
Oh, well, I cant agree at all with Puny but even more with Seltsam. To you, Jeff, we are just the stubborn Europeans... To me its about morality, war can never be a solution to the problems but will cause more wars and hate. But how can a country like America know anything about that, never have had a war on their own holy ground! I hope it has to do with this, with inexperience, but im afraid not.
Blair is not admirable at all. He is a chicken, nothing more. Blairs own opinion? I dont think so, he is just being afraid of Bushs displeasure. Blair is a brownnose, kissing 'king' Bushs ass.

Think again September 11th was an act of war on their own ground, what about Pearl Harbour, or the civil war for starters.

Good point no. But I think Blair and Hitler maybe a little unfair of a comparison

But it wasn`t Iraq who attacked them Smile
There is no evifence that Saddam supported Bin Laden and i think all knows that majority of terrorists who were involved in 11th sept. attacks came from Saudi Arabia and were surely supported by Royal family members.
It`s all bout money and petrol, nothing more nothing less.
There are countries which are real threat to USA ,why not attack them ? Like North Korea or Iran - both possesin nuclear weapons.
Why biggest and one of best armies on the world cant catch one old guy aka Bin Laden ,kinda silly for me. A lot of questions, but no answers Smile
