Absolutely agree, no way a red card, lenon should have had a penalty, portugal keeper saying he wasnt ready after ref blew that was blatent cheating and ronaldo was a disgrace to football tonight, he lost a huge amount of respect from me. Well done Rooney for not retaliating at the headbutt from him before the game, I would have.

AFAIK kicking someone in the nuts shoud be a red card, certainly after you push someone else as well right after.. not clever.
Too bad for England. I hope Portugal will lose next match. They deserve it!

Yep, along with headbutting rooney before the match to wind him up and also a little 'shoosh' motion after that wink.
And as for 'kicking someone in the nuts' why don't you try getting dragged to the floor and getting up amongst two guys without any accidents happening, it was not malicious.
The push was wrong but to be honest it was to be expected after ronaldo (his team mate I might add) winded him up so much.
Got my doubts about how much longer ronaldo will be playing for man utd. |
